Question/Topic: How To Catch Up with Successful OFW Friends?
Answer: You don't.
Key Take Away: Every person, OFW or not, has a unique goal for being an OFW. And your goal is uniquely yours, too! Comparing or catching up with them will make you slow. Remember that you are on a different race and catching up is insignificant.
Actionable advice: Communicate your unique goal with loved ones left behind to prevent them (your loved ones) from comparing you (the OFW) with other OFWs who are successful. And successfully pave the way, hand in hand, to reach your well communicated and unique goal and be successful together.
THE PURPOSE OF THIS POST: Instead of listing down my new year’s resolution and not doing it yet again like what happens every year, I have decided to make it very simple by focusing on completing one task every day. I call it New Day’s Resolution. My New Day's Resolution is to run up the mountain for 30 minutes or more as part of my strengthening because of my injured back last November 16, 2016. I am documenting my journey to return to work while giving out insights on a very simple concept of small wins. Basically, it is making a daily habit. A good habit together with its ups and downs like my life as an OFW here in Hong Kong. And then ultimately inspiring viewers that " If I can do this, YOU CAN, too! "
I can tell everyone how to do it but I am opting now to just show it to you.
